Today, Medical Supermarket launches the Give a Day, staff charity scheme. Medical Supermarket is giving each member of staff one paid day a year to do any sort of charity work they wish. Whether its supporting their local school, conservation work, helping the elderly, working at the local pet adoption centre etc.
Speaking on behalf of the scheme Nick Coleman, Co-founder of Medical Supermarket states; “We are delighted to offer our staff the chance to do something valuable for our local community. By paying their salary for a day we can give all our staff the opportunity to work with charities close to their heart. We’re hoping that by doing this we can encourage more companies in the region to also offer a similar scheme, with over 220,000 employees in Buckinghamshire alone, that would make a serious impact on such worthwhile causes.”
